Sausage Bread
This Louisiana sausage bread is so savory and delicious, you'll want to eat the entire thing! It took me a while to get just the right recipe to taste like what I had when I was a child. I loved it then, for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack & I hope you will enjoy it also!

Ingredients:
Jimmy Dean Hot breakfast sausage
1/2 lb ground beef
Cayenne pepper
Paprika
Tony's Chachere
Garlic powder
chopped onion
1 egg
1 small jalapeño (optional for extra spice)
Frozen bread dough*
Butter
Provolone cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Pepper Jack cheese
Prep:
Take frozen bread dough out of freezer and let thaw out.
Pre-heat oven to 350
In a bowl, mix the sausage, ground beef, and all ingredients listed, up to the bread dough (mix ingredients by hand).
Cook:
Cook sausage mix. Roll out bread dough, melt butter and spread on top. Place sausage mix and cheese on buttered dough, roll together and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 min or until brown. Let sit and cool, slice it up and enjoy! Also great to freeze and save for later.

*sometimes frozen bread dough is hard to find, pizza dough works just as well. If you would like a little savory sweet flavor, croissant rolls are also an option.
