INDY
Indianapolis, Indiana was probably one of the last cities on my list to visit. I don't even care for the Colts either! So I really never saw myself anywhere in Indiana anytime soon; until this past weekend.
Long story short, my boyfriend got a job out there and now I sit on the phone listening to him play Fortnite until he loses and then he talks to me. Lol (NO, its not that bad, YES, I'm over exaggerating, NO, we didn't break up just because he moved and people think that it's impossible to have a long distance relationship).
I finally had a couple days off so I decided to take a really short trip. The weather was great! It sunny almost the whole weekend & it was warm with a breeze. We were actually able to do a few fun things, but I was only there about two full days so we did as much as we could.
We walked in the White River State Park, explored around Downtown then ate at Ruth's Chris, and also walked the neighborhood around where we stayed and ate at a local popular breakfast restaurant, Yolk. We also visited a local family owned winery that was pretty good and they had their own label of wines. Im planning another visit this summer so next time I go back, I'll have more to share! I'm still looking for some fun things to do besides going to all the suprisingly beautiful parks there, so if you know any great places let me know! Scroll down to enjoy some of the photos!
