Very easy recipe for small turkey patties.
Serves 3-5 people
1lb ground turkey
1 cup cheese (I used Mexican blend)
1/2 green bell pepper (chopped into small pieces)
1/2 tsp. Tony's Chachere's
1/2 tsp. Oregano
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. minced garlic
In a large mixing bowl, add the turkey and the next 6 ingredients and work in together. You can use a spoon, but your hands work better. Turn the stove on low heat. In a medium pan, add the butter and minced garlic. Grab a handful of the turkey mix (or desired amount) into a ball,then smash and add to the pan. repeat until mix is done. Turn the stove to medium heat and cook through.
Try pairing with avocado, cilantro and wheat toast instead of a hamburger bun. Add your favorite condiments and enjoy!!
