Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp& Chicken
Hey guys, so here's the recipe that I found online! It is originally 'Sticky Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp' from The Recipe Critic . It was very easy and quick to make. I actually didn't have enough honey as the recipe called for, so mine wasn't as "sticky" as the original, but it still came out pretty good & had a good balance of sweet and savory.

I was so hungry and dreading going to the grocery store, and didn't really know what I wanted to cook. So I just went online for inspiration, and I saw the recipe and saw that it required very few ingredients and only took about 30 min; so why not! I had all of the ingredients, but I also added a few things to the recipe to make it my own.
Prep:
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 garlic cloves
lemon juice of one lemon
2 tablespoons of butter
any vegetable (I used an Asian medley bag of mixed veggies)
1/2 lb shrimp
about 5 pieces of chicken tenderloins
salt and pepper to taste
Mix the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon. Clean the shrimp and cut the chicken into smaller pieces as desired.
(this serves about 4 people)
Add half of the sauce mix to the chicken and shrimp in a bowl. Cover and let marinate for 30min. Set the other half of the sauce to the side.
In a pan or skillet, add the butter and the shrimp and chicken. Cook on medium heat. Then add vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. After chicken is almost fully cooked, add the rest of the sauce over the shrimp and chicken and cook until it starts to thicken.
Serve over rice or noodles and enjoy!
